Apple Harvest Weekend

A celebration of gratitude for the lands we live on, and that the farmers that feed us. Fabulous fall colours, crisp autumn air and even crisper apples. These are just some of the ingredients of the Thanksgiving harvest experience at Blue Mountain, in Ontario’s largest apple growing region. Apple Harvest Weekend features live music on the Coca-Cola Floating Stage, family activities, fall colours hiking, apple pie eating contests, cider tasting, sidewalk sales, Agora Path of Light and more!

AGORA is an unusual and magical space inspired by storytellers and cycles of life in nature. As participants walk this circular path, they will encounter a series of interactive lighting installations based on the five elements of air, space, earth, water and fire. Tickets include one round-trip ride on the Open Air Gondola and 45 minutes on the AGORA: Path of Light experience.

Located on Poplar Side Road and County Rd 124, you will see rows and rows of wagons filled to the top with pumpkins, dried corn, corn stalks, and squashes! Morrison Pumpkin Farm is a great place for a day with family and friends for a great photo op, ride around in a wagon, and to find pumpkins to carve!

Rounds Ranch is full of activities that could keep you busy all day long! With ziplines, giant jumping pillows, corn cannons, pumpkin bowling and multiple mazes you can be sure to find fun for the entire family. The kids will also enjoy an assortment of games that offer the opportunity to win prizes! No matter who you come with, make sure someone stays hungry and have them try their luck at the pumpkin pie eating contest! Don’t forget to grab your pumpkin before you leave, any size is FREE with paid admission.

Enjoy a scenic family paddle down the Beaver River or Nottawasaga River and take in the beautiful fall colours. This paddle is great for beginner or experienced paddlers and takes approximately 2 hours. The river has great spots to take a break and set up a picnic. For $45 a person, this includes the boat, lifejacket, and safety kit rental, and a brief instruction. Due to COVID-19, Free Spirit Tours is limiting a group of 5 people from your “bubble”.
