LIVING IN THE GREY HIGLANDS
Grey Highlands is located in Grey County, a region known for its stunning vistas. Grey Highlands consists of hamlets, rural and heritage communities, agricultural flat lands and rolling hills.
In addition to the Niagara Escarpment World Bio Reserve which passes through it, the area also includes Eugenia Falls, Lake Eugenia, the Bruce Trail, Osprey Bluffs, and the Saugeen and Beaver Rivers. Grey Highlands was formed in 2001 by amalgamating the villages of Markdale, Flesherton, Artemesia, Euphrasia and Osprey.
If you’re interested in adventure and/or excursions this is a great spot for you. Recreation includes downhill and cross-country skiing, kayaking and canoeing the Beaver River, hiking the Bruce Trail, cycling and snowmobiling.
